Mine got into Jessup, MD (just SW of Baltimore about 1.5 hours from my dealer) today at about 5pm, anyone have an idea how soon she could possibly loaded onto a truck and delivered to Southern MD? I have heard that it can still take 48-72 hours at this point... just trying to gauge when she might be arriving. Thanks.

Mine got to its railyard yesterday at 1315 and according to the railcar tracker it still isn't unloaded....go figure. I heard once it's unloaded they (GM) have 3 days to get it to the dealer per contract.

Maybe your cars with mine. I tracked mine down to Jessup, MD Sunday afternoon. I assumed from there it would be trucked as I am just north of the Mason/Dixon line. Called my dealer today and he's not sure where it is. He was going to call the district supervisor?

My car popped up on the spastic squirrel site today so i finally know my vin, and that the car is shipped.

the dealer tells me it should be at the dealer around the 7th or 8th, but may get there a little earlier, that last car only took 7 days to get there.

I am leaving the state for 8 weeks on the 6th of all days though.

All I know is the VIN though... what can I do to watch the status from here though?
I know the car will end up in Petersburg VA, but I dont know what rail car, and I dont know what shipping company.

Is there anything I can do from here?

My car arrived in Jessup, MD. last Sunday. It is now in Annapolis, MD. where it has been since Monday. They seem to get offloaded from the rail cars and then just sit. My dealer told me on Thursday it may be here by Friday. On Saturday he told me maybe Monday.

It's just a waiting game at this point.

Does anyone know the normal turnaround to get your car from the railyard to the dealer?? Mine has been "sitting on the rail car" since 6/23 over in Fort Worth.

I'm ready to drive over there myself and get her. I have a wonderful garage all clean and ready for her to come home.

if you can get me a car number, I might be able to help you out... the BNSF and the UPRR both have holding facilities in the Ft Worth area, so I might not be able to get you much, but I can sure try

Mine sat for over a week at the railyard. Arrived there on a Sunday and was delivered to the dealer Tuesday, nine days later.

Oh, the story gets better! Dealer said it was unloaded from the railcar last Tuesday (6/23) and is on a car transporter but they don't know where it is!

Meantime, they have recieved 2 camaros in inventory. What's what that???

Your dealer can call the Dealer Business Center and get the actual railroad company and the railcar number.
The DBC can also provide the railyard that will receive your car. Once you have those pieces of info, you will be able to track your car as it moves thru the country.

Any other way to get this data?, emailed my dealer's inventory mgr, but have not heard back from him since.
