I think apex sells it too so you might hit up apex chase and see if he can get you a better deal by combining the exhaust and device and whatever

I went with the Borla 3" exhaust. It required me to remove the rear braces, but I replaced them to stiffen the chassis back up.

Installed my solo axle back myself. Great sound. Lots of fun to install!

Another vote for the solo Catback fits great, no bending or repositioning of braces. Best of all, with the j-pipes, fully tunable because no two cars sound alike.

I'm planning on getting a Solo set-up in the future and thought you could avoid a tune/otherwise by placing the car into Sport mode to avoid 4 cylinder operation, yes?

No - it will still kick on in sport mode and mine kicked on even when I used the paddles which some people say it won't. The only way I got rid of it was with a tune when I got my headers done

Cool, do it yourselfer! Did you need to weld anything?

I have the L99, automatic SS/RS, is the "drone" tolerable or did you tune it out as well?

Thanks.

You can also use the device called Range V8. It will keep the car from going in to AFM mode (4 cylinder)
