Cool Phone Call

Ok, so at work, I park my car at the front of the building, right below our sign. about 10 minutes ago, I get a call on my work phone, asking for the owner of the red Camaro. I told him it was mine. He proceeded to tell me he has a 2014 LT Camaro, and wants to trade hoods, to get the hood vent. to make things better for me, he will throw in $200 or 3 days at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (Mosport) in the summer. I am going to CTMP May 18th, and it is $180, so I cant decide what to do! maybe some help?

Is the painting of his hood on your dime or his?

If'n my measurements were correct, the LT hood lines are narrower than the SS.

I'd check that area for mismatch. Then if it doesn't match, I'll bet you'll find your answer.

I would probably pass. Physically they'll swap, but the hood lines may not match.

The SS cowl is wider than the LT.
The LT's cowl is the same as previous years.

Isn't the hood vent there for a reason on the 2014 Camaro SS? I wouldn't do it.

I agree with most of the other responses. Why would you want to do this? You're giving up one of the cooler features of the 2014, and for a measly $200??? This was not a cool phone call. And I urge you to not even consider this for another moment.

Why would you do this for any amount of money?
Something smells fishy!

Why do you show a pic of a white Camaro if yours is red?
