Can anyone speak to cost of buying the SCT and having a DynaSteve tune? If not allowed I apologize mods.

Pretty sure that is only if you purchase the programmer or the mods from him.

Best to PM Dyno Steve direct. Look in the for sale section under vendors sales stuff. PM him and he will reply to your questions.

Unfortunately the boss won't let me do a tune on her car until the factory power train warranty expires.

I only live 15 minutes away from his shop and he is a great person along with the people who work with him. I got mine dyno tuned with the mods listed below and there is a difference night and day. The ones that bought a tuner device from him also had great results. He is well respected and knows what he is doing.

Yes, you have to buy the tuner from him. But, not all the mods!

FYI, you're within one click of my 2014 with ARH/CAI/PTB and lightweight wheels dynotuned by Mike Norris. In May, it will be three years since tuned. Still runs great.

Question: Does a tune ever need to be redone if no further mods are made?

Not sure about this but Steve says the tune is "hidden" and the dealer can't tell it's been done.

I had my L99 email tuned by him and I love it. My car has kooks long tubes, hfc, CAI intake, Borla Atak catback and she made 380ish to the wheels.

Old thread. My first tune was with Steve. I was essentially stock with a CAI. I wanted a little more. So he sent me his own 'aggressive' tune and my TQ converter failed a little bit later. I asked for - and installed, the more aggressive tune voluntarily, so no dig on Steve. Maybe it just exposed a shaky OE converter? Who knows? This was about 2018 or so. I eventually went with another tune that same year and all is still good.

Recently bought the whole Tuner package from him hoping to get my hot start issue resolved. Got a few tunes that did nothing, was told to go fix "mechanical issues" with my car, and sent packing. Engaged another well known tuner who had a much more refined and discliplined approach and resolved the issue with a series of tunes driven by numerous Data Logs with specific Channel items and HP Layout.
