flex fuel kit

i just order a DSX flex fuel kit for my 14 SS, on the post it says i can run it with my stock fuel injectors and pump. but when i messaged the tuner, they said i would need new injectors and to pay 1500$. i understand that it’s orobably recommended to get new injectors but i’m not paying that much for them. so should i cancel my order or am i able to run it with my stock fuel system ?

if you are not boosting or running an aftermarket cam, the stock injectors will be fine. Once you add/allow more air into the cylinders (via FI or valves opening higher/longer duration) you will have to run larger injectors

If you are not boosting or have not raised the compression on the motor, you are fine with the stock fuel system. You'd gain a few horses if you run E85 simply because of the couple of extra degrees timing that you can add but thats about it. Its a lot of money fow such little gains. If your mods are whats in your signature, spend the money on 4.10 gears if you're planning on staying all motor or motor PLUS nitrous

thank you so much for the tips! that’s exactly what i was thinking. i don’t know why a tuner that specializes in camaros wouldn’t know this.

Check out Pray Performance, he's a sponsor on Camaro6 forums....flex fuel kit is $200, all plug-n-play.

Find another tuner also....
