There is a DYI post on the NPP that allows you to run in Stealth, Always Open or Factory. All you need is to cut one wire and wire up a three position switch.

The stealth is nice because it allows you to make the car as quiet as possible. This is huge if you have neighbors and you have to leave early for work.
Can you post a link to the write for the OP to check out

It’s the first post.

Op read through all the posts. There are two ways of going about this mod. What I’m referring to is a hand drawn image with a 3 position switch somewhere in one of those posts.

Also, just a tip which helped me tremendously (if you don’t already know about this...)

Using google...
enter “camaro5” (no quotes) followed by your search words.

It’s the fastest way to get to the information you’re looking for. It cuts down all the irrelevant hits. I found this nugget here on camaro5 in a post long ago.

Valves closed, I like it semi quiet until I get on it.

This is my car on the dyno.

In personally like having the NPP. I force it shut in the AM when I leave for work. I have long tubes, no cats, NPP and a cam. Cold starts are something I'm sure my neighbors hate at 4:30am.
