I have a list of mods that were possibilities for the future when money is available again. A meth kit most likely from Alky was one of the mods along with a 10% lower. Those mods along with the tune would push over $2k. I really need tires before I do that.

I’m at the same power level as you, and my factory tires suck now. I’m going with the Alky kit with the prometh Lsa kit. My tuner mike, formally of New era performance tunes my car for $100. But he’s also my neighbor.

Nice neighbor!. I don't know if Tom will charge me full tilt for a follow up or not. My factory tires are about useless for any serious traction in 1st gear, 2nd is better but they still spin pretty easy. I'm thinkin Nitto drag radials might be better.

What's the Alky kit cost? What do you think it will do performance wise?

The alky kit cost $679 you can use your windshield washer bottle for a tank or use a prometh tank 2 gallon $179 and the lsa prometh kit $399. You can find cheaper kits, but do some research on them lots of problems.

performance wise, I hear about 50 hp. its more about the cooling and octane with the meth to add back the timing your losing from heat soak.

May i ask how much all these mods costed you ?

Im may get a ZL1 , looking at it this sunday , but ill probably leave it stock considiering how expensive it is to get a few extra HP out of these things

You would think a pulley and a tune could do it but nope

What are you wanting to do? I have almost 30 mods to my car so I cant give you an accurate number of what youre asking for unless you tell me what mods youre going to do. Shoot me a list and I'll let you know.
