Race Ramps For Changing Oil

What is the best one to get for the ZL1? I am looking at some RR-40 race ramps, but maybe I need a longer set?
I don't want to use a jack or stands on it, just want something I can get up on and change my oil, it's past 500 miles and I want to change to amsoil.

Make your own. Seriously.

Spike together as many layers of 2 x 12 as it takes to get the height you need and make each layer as long as you need to make the effective incline gradual enough for your car. Include stop blocks so you don't drive off the front, slice the ends at the "inclines" to make it easier to roll up onto each higher layer, and add handles for moving and storage.

You need the longer ramps to clear the front spliter.

These are the ones I bought. They're 67" long and raise the car 10". Not sure if anything would be different on the Z, but they work great for my SS. Heck, I even used them to install my headers.

Just posted a thread yesterday on my first oil change. I have the 56 inch Raceramps and they worked perfectly.

Over 60 grand for the car...I figure I can afford 2 bills for high quality ramps. And they will pay for themselves after a couple of oil changes.

I guess that's one way to look at it (and I did see that coming).

Although if I wasn't willing to build my own ramps I'd have seriously questioned the idea of doing my own oil changes in the first place.

Or maybe I'm just to much of a DIY'er. Carry on.

Just curious, I changed my oil last weekend and used ramps. Question is does this effect getting all the oil drained? looks like it should help but just wondering. Didn't mean to jack your thread but thought this info could be helpful discussing ramps.SS
