I really, really, hate the wheel hope my Z28 has. So much so that I am looking at buying a hellcat. I want something more fun from stop light to stop light.

Has anyone fixed the wheel hop?
Do different tires help?
Will a different alignment help?

There is n way you can spin the tires at all on my Z28. The wheel hop is terrible and worse then any car I have driven.

what you need are;

Trailing Arms - the Factory pieces are stamped steel and flex contributing to the Wheel Hop

Toe Rods - see the Trailing Arm Explaination

Cradle Bushings - Factory are Soft Rubber that allow the Cradle to shift & oscillate.

Did you also do Trailing Arms, Toe Rods and Cradle Bushings as many others are saying? I ordered the Hotchkis brace this morning. I am going to start with it as it is the easiest to install and has additional track benefits. If that doesn't fix it I will try the Cradle bushings next. They are just more work to install and I think the brace will stop them from flexing.

Were you still on Trofeo's?

Out of curiosity, did it make that big of a difference on the Z28?

I thought all Z/28 bushings were far stiffer than the normal Camaro (SS, 1LE, Zl1) bushings. Is that not the case with the Cradle bushings as well?

Car is stock in the rear outher then the brace, and I only run two diffrent tires on the car, the Trofeo's and R7, At the time I only had the Trofeo's.

To me it made a difference that I felt right away, that's not to say the BMR parts are not good, all I am saying is what I did.

P.S. we have #82

I'm considering it for sure now. I do drive it daily, so I am curious how much it'll affect street driving, but that's good to know! Thank you.
