First hydrodip
So, i have a whipple. With it i had to lose the engine cover so i was left with the open coils and wiring and it just looks messy. I ended up buying a set of covers for use with the whipple. They wanted $300 to paint them and would add lettering if wanted, i opted for bare and figured it would be a chance to try hydrodip because i was curious about it anyway. Well here's the final product. Not installed yet. Came out ok, definitely not perfect but acceptable to me for a first try and better than regular paint.

They look cool. Hard to see from the pictures but there's probably half a dozen white spots, not exactly sure why. Didn't think i got air trapped. Maybe not enough activator. I'm running with it though lol good enough for me.

On my second dip after rinsing i lightly wiped it with my hand to be sure all the slime was off because the first time i didn't get it all off and it dried leaving some streaks. I dried it with compressed air (not full blast) Cleared it after an hour after it dried. I used aerosol paint and activator i don't have paint gun. Best advice probably ask someone that knows what they are doing lol. I'd also probably cut small pieces off the film and practice on something to see how it reacts and figure out how much activator to use. Dark images take more as there's more paint in the image.

If you have extra film dip something like a wine bottle first to learn the technique and get a feel. After doing 1 or 2 then you can do your parts and they will turn out great. Nice job bro
