There is almost 2.5 cu ft of airspace UNDER the trunk floor cover.

I will post pics when I get around to it but just letting anyone know about the large amount of air available once you remove the styrofoam and airpump from the battery area under the trunk floor.You do have to make your own baffle to replace the factory cover but its pretty easy.Just cut a whole in the middle and use the center piece to hold it down and pad the edges with foam pad.If anyones interested in pics,let me know....

Yea thats where the battery and fix-a-flat go. I put sound deadener all over mine, seemed to help.

With battery TEMPORARILY removed... It can be relocated to the upper side but it is much safer and more practical where the factory installed it..

I was looking in the spare tire well also, I play Hockey so I have my trunk full of gear at least twice a week. My friend has a new 2012 Challenger SRT-8 and his came with a very nice all in one sub box in the as well as the battery and tire pump kit
