Custom Center Caps
i am looking for some custom center caps/emblems for my AR Torq Thrust Ms.
does anyone have any custom center caps they want to show off? please list where they are from as well. i contacted one place i found online, but they won't return my emails. another place i found makes cool custom ones, will run around 125 a set!!! just for the adhesive backed emblem to go on my caps. let see what you have, doesn't matter the brand of wheel. |

I like both! Did you get a price on the fender emblems and if so from who and how much?

Maybe a group buy? I looked a few months ago for something to fit the exact same center but didn't find anything I liked. I too sent messages that went unanswered. |

anyone with some PS experience could do the artwork. i am actually thinking about enlarging the RS slightly anyhow, if i do that i can do some SSs as well, with different color inserts. the group buy thing probably a no-go, they only charge $16 shipped, but takes 2 weeks or so. if we came up with a single size/design, we could maybe get a reduced price if we had a bunch of sets made. but with all the different size wheels centers and designs people would want, it would probably be better if everyone got their own individual quotes??? i measured my centers at 1.665", and this company does them in mm increments, so i went with 42mm. this is the company; http://3dcarstickers.com/en/ i said earlier they were UK, but i am not sure about that. they replied within the next day. thanks for the comments. |

So these are pieces that you stick over the existing center caps? I have the same rims as you, but in chrome. I could go for center caps with "SS".

the "plastic cover" is a resin poured over the decal, then when the resin hardens, the decal is applied.
if you watch the little video on this page, you'll see how it is done, not too hard for someone who wanted to do it themselves. http://www.sirvisual.it/languageeng/convex.asp the trick will be removing it without damaging the edge of the cap itself! |
