Major Chipping Issue!
Hey guys, I'm from NY so as you know we've had a ton of snow. As my car is my DD, I eventually had to take it out the driveway to use it. With a mixture of sand and salt my car has accumlated a bunch of chippings on the bottom panel on each side in front of the rear tire and behind the front tires.
Will Dr. Color Chip work to fix these or will I have to repaint the whole panel over? Also, how can I prevent this from happening again? and Has anyone else have this issue? I'm very bummed out and will appreciate all the help I can get. As always, thanks guys! |

3M clear bra ... GM paint sucks it chips super easy. Let me rephrase 2010 + Camaro paint sucks... not sure if its the paint of the soft plastic but regardless it is brittle as all hell.

I have the body colored mud guards on mine and drive my car as my only car in winter and summer and don't seem to have this problem and the guards seem to blend in nicely with the body

same here. i bought a black vert and knew how chips will show up like crazy, so i had dealer put the GM mud flares on and clear bra the front. i think those will help some, but again, being a car on a road, there will be places chips will happen too
