Edelbrock E-Force Dyno

So here is a pic of the last Edelbrock E-Force on a 2010 SS LS3. The kit install was fairly simple except for the fact that Edelbrock miss machined the valley cover and we had a massive oil leak.

After pulling the supercharger off and re machining the cover on my mill here are the #'s we got. This is with a pulley one size smaller and a custom tune. All in all this is a great kit and actually like the fit better than some of the other positive displacement supercharger kits.

This was with about 9lbs of boost, ARH Headers & Exhaust.

How did you catch the mis-machined valley cover? before or after the install?
I hopefully have one of these coming and wouldn't know what to look for on the cover, so looking to your experience to see what to look for.

thanks
Dean

Mike, this is a very handsome numbers. If that same car would have dynoed at sea level, say Florida, would those numbers be higher or lower?

If it is SAE corrected it won't matter where it is dyno'd.

Maybe a stupid question...is that corrected for flywheel hp, or are we looking at rwhp on that graph?

No problems with fuel? Or did you install a BAP? Nice #'s!

Very Lucky that this is my build...............Car runs fantastic, RMCR guys did a great job with it....

The mis-machined valley cover issue was found just before car was put on final dyno( good thing)

Fuel was good throughout up to 6600rpm with no tale off.

More pics and base dyno graph will be up shorlty here and on my journal page.

Teddy,
How did they determine the valley cover was mis-machined? Is it something you can visually determine? The reason I ask, is in theory, I have one getting ready to ship and I want to know if I can visually see the problem before I install.

thanks
Dean

Notice a leak on the ground before pulling up to dyno, put on lift and followed from there. Determined that it needed to be tapped further for a tight secure fit.
