First Car Show - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Meridian's big cook-off is this weekend and I was thinking about entering in the car show. The event is titled Antique and Classic. Does that mean it is limited to older cars? Should I be prepared to sit there all day to protect people from messing with it? Anybody won anything showing a stock car? Any tips? I have 900 miles on her and was going to zaino it Friday.

If it's titled "Antique and Classic" and you roll up in a brand new, 100% stock car, that's really going to piss off some folks. I'd call them or find out what classes there are in the show before going. If they have a late-model or stock class, you might enter in that.

the lady in the office didn't know so I am going to show up and see, if no class works for me than I will drink beer and sample meats all day!

Hi! Texan, I have 4 trophies from 4 different shows to date. 2 with mine stock, 1 after adding the CAI and 1 with some bling under the hood. I have gotten great reactions from people who have cars of all makes and models. Although, all the shows have been pretty open here. I would give it a try. So many people still haven't seen one of these beauties.

take to the show--- went to two shows got two trophies 154 miles on car black beauty beige int. LS3 ,people love to look at cars all of them

Went to my first show last weekend with my Transformer edition SS, brought home a trophy (plaque really) for Top 20. They only had Top 20, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Restoration, etc., it was an all types car show... even had a few bikes.

Mine is still 99.99% Stock. I added two stickers. One on windshield and one on steering wheel. Also custom floor mats with autobot logo.
