Its the potential that is what makes them awesome. They are stronger than the engines that come in our cars, and the point is to add a blower and make it a beast.

The cars also come with a trans, rear end, and tires built for the strip, so even at 325 hp, it would still kick your ass haha

Don't worry. They highly underrate these engines

Sorry but the pic of the engine with a blower is from a 2012 model not a 2013.

Hopefully they will make them a little more appealing. Those stripes are hideous! So are the wheels. I like the COPO decal. Just my personal opinion though.

The lower power ratings are to allow the Copo into areas of stock eliminator they previously could not play. Also, if I have the rules understood(correct me if Im wrong), the run of 2012 Copo's cars made the previous 2 blower engines legal for all gen Camaros. So a team could build their own car for stock eliminator and not be forced to used an LS3 or LSA. 2013 appears to be rounding out the range of the now many legal combo's from mild to wild a 5th gen Camaro is legal to use. Which I would have to think will probably make the car quite appealing for sometime. Smart move on Chevy's part.

I would bet the lower power cars will still be 10 and 11 sec cars. Hell theres a I/SA TPI 305 85 Camaro that ran 11.3's. Im sure teams will do great things with these cars.

I got the email and call today to verify that I would be interested in buying a 13 COPO. I will be getting car #67, I'm still toying with what engine option I'll go with as I'll need to let go of my ZL-1 to acquire the COPO....
