You've got to be joking. Seriously? It's a nice looking Camaro and all but I'd say it's worth no more than maybe $85k and that's being generous. This is JMO though. Good luck selling those...Why would anybody plunk that much down for that when you can get a ZR1 Vette for considerably less $. Sorry...not impressed.

Very nice - however, I would rather buy a 33K Camaro and a 60-80K Corvette Z06 and save the $47K. That is, if I was loaded. But then again, if I was loaded - I wouldn't have to worry about 150K. Anyway..

I agree with mostly everyone when I say "150k is too much for that car." It is nice, but I'd buy a ZR1 first.

I would have to disagree with the supersnake comment though, that car is purpose built for the drag strip this camaro is built for the person with more money than sense.

The value of this car will only drop. It will not increase like one may hope for in 20 years. Sorry but What is so Iconic about this car? Hell my monte carlo only had 2000 built ever but I will tell you it's worth maybe 1k more than a normal run of the mill 04 monte.

No special edition cars are really worth it unless you are talking super rare exotics, etc.... And even with those the resell on some are near 30-40% of what the original cost was.

Some good mods to a an overall same basic design from the factory.

All of these things are possible without a twin screw, 800hp or 400lbs cut off. Just sayin

~10k for the body work and 1-off grill and tails
even going way over and saying the custom wheels were 10k

= ~90k if you round up 3k

so is it worth 60k for bragging rights and hopes that it will claim the same collector status as a 1st gen Yenko in 40 years?

regardless I like some aspects of the car, almost a bit too smooth though which took away from the edgy fighter jet look some of the body lines suggest
+How much for this stuff though?

I'm not sayin I can afford it or that I even like all the changes they have made but a few of us may not be taking in to consideration the HUGE amount of money it takes to build this type of machine and still make a profit after paying all the people involved.

dont forget you are paying them for the work. the LS9 is not just a "drop-in" motor in this car. you have to custom fab brackets for the alt, p/s, a/c, plus route the dry sump oiling, in addition to other little "tricks" to install one. not an overnight task.

04? As in 2004? I think I can tell you why it isn't worth any more....give it one or two more years and you will get there.
