body swap...

a friend of mine has a 95 camaro z28, and wants to know if it is possible to change the body panels (hood, fenders, and front facia) to make it look like a 1998-2002...
Is it possible?

Yes. Ask him to go to LS1tech.com and inquire as a few members over there have done it.

sweet. is the intake set up in the early 90's models an issue when you swap the nose? I know that the older 4th gens are "bottom feeders" and suck air off of the road surface...

and my other question is can you do the same for the firebird?

yes it is the same with the firebirds too. in fact almost any generation F car you can swap bolt on parts from a newer model to the older model and vice versa. I know a guy who wanted to do a KITT replica from Knight Rider. the TV cars were all 82/83 Trans ams but since they made the body style from 82 to 92 he found a nice clean rust free 91 firebird t top and removed all the stuff that makes it a 91. like lower body cladding, rear bumper cover and rear tails and front clip and swapped it with parts from a 82-84 TA and then had the whole car painted jet black it was killer when done .

I want to do the same to my 94 Firebird. However, I love those Ram Air hood scoops and I want to put one on mine as well. Who sells good price body conversion kits online?

just go to a salvage yard and you should be able to find all the parts you need (if people drive the same way there as they do here)
