I dont even care about your times in the car those come with practice. Its more your self proclaimed lack of desire to use the cars as intended that makes me sad for them.

Well, my money, my car, I'll drive it how I want to drive it. I feel sad for you that you have to wait until 2019 and possibly 2020 for something that can finally compete with the ZL1. And I also feel bad for you that you have to stick up for a manufacturer that needed 2-3 MYs to finally build something that can compete with the ZL1.

So let's take a GT350R which arguably will have more expensive things on it that the GT500 won't..like the carbon fiber composite wheels and instead go with lightweight forged units. So again..price washes out there.

Throw in some comfort bits the GT350's don't have, and an automatic option (either DCT or the A10) and I'd say, realistically, you're looking at a $70,000 GT500 on the upper end, maybe $75,000 loaded to the gills.

Not cheap for a Mustang, but also I don't think FoMoCo is willing to touch the 100K barrier yet with the Mustang, just like GM isn't with the Camaro.
