I suggest the noweeds over "cutouts" yes there a little more expensive. But worth it. They are diverters. Not cutouts. What that means is. Where as a cutout allows air to CHOOSE the path of least resistance. The diverters works on a two valve system in each pipe. And as it opens the "dump" it closes the stock flow forcing all of the air put of it. Where a cutout would let like 20% go through the stock flow even while the "dump" is open

I have the stock exhaust on a 13 L99 but with small magnaflow round mufflers. It sounds really nice to me. Throaty, but won't wake people up in the complex when I start it early morning. But I had heard that it's bit more throaty if I removed my resonators. So off this morning I went, to my muffler shop in Pompano Beach Fl -Mad Hatter Mufflers - they truly are experts. Once we got it up on the lift my muff guy looked and saw it was an L99 and pointed out the large resonators down the middle and said if I take them out and add a X pipe it will really "open it up" - I declined and went on my way. Happy with this sound:

I have a corsa exhaust, no cats, and stepped headers. It will rattle things off the walls of my house if i start it in the garage.

Resonator delete will solve your problem.

Not true. I had them installed last Thursday and they set off the CEL within 25 miles.

Some have probably gone a while before it tripped and there are probably some that have never set it off after LTs but most will see it eventually unless they get a tune.
