No RS.. Big deal?

I've been looking for a 2011 2ss convertible. I've only been able to find one that matches my wants. Unfortunately, the dealer and I are way off on price. The other one I found doesn't have the RS package but is cheaper. As far as I can tell, the only major difference is the halo headlights. Would I really miss the RS package? Could I get halos aftermarket? Thanks.

Mine does not have the Halos I wanted either. And yes site sponsor ACC can hook you up. About a $800-$1000 to do so though.

For an SS, its really just the Halo's that you're missing out on. I settled for a Camaro without RS package because I got an exceptional deal. I would have liked the RS package, but then again, I also would've liked a Corvette ZR1.

At some point you have to draw the line and for me it was either a V6 Camaro or the car I chose, 1SS no RS.

Totally satisfied.

Not a big deal.

The RS package included HID headlights with halo's, the rear spoiler, 20" midnight silver wheels and tires, and a couple of other odds and ends.

Spoiler is standard on 2012's and with the right halogen bulbs, you won't miss the HID's, see www.EuroDezigns.com.

Bought an SS-non RS. Wouldn't have been beneficial for me. My car's black, so roof ditch molding is already matched. SS has the rear spoiler. 20" wheels weren't big enough...I went 22's front, and 24's rear. That would have left me paying about $1300 for halo lights. I bought aftermarket for $325, and installed myself. Just depends on color, I guess.

Aftermarket HID bulbs are not designed to go into normal halogen housings. They blind oncoming traffic. I say get the RS package. Halogen headlights look like crap on the Camaro.

The RS package was the first thing I rejected when I ordered my SS. Never looked back. But if you're considering going aftermarket for the HIDs you might as well get the RS.

RS is a dealbreaker for me, also, if u get a car that isnt black, the roof ditch moldings actually make a difference in appearance

No engine/trans difference with RS/non-RS. That's LS3/L99 comparison.
