I have been a HUGE fan of Diamond Audio. Their HEX series components are awesome and D6 amp's rock.... I have had Diamond in several of my cars and that's whats going in here! Just building the box rite now....

Unfortunately Diamond hit a rough patch in the early 2000's (cant remember exactly what year, 2nd gen HEX) and they dropped out of the "blisteringly good" list, which sucked because the first few sets of HEX comps that I ran were freakin amazing. I have heard that the new ones are better, more along the lines of what you would expect from the Diamond Hex gear...

What ever happened with precision power? Are they still as good?

bought out ... went to crap... then started making a comeback. got the glaring quality problems fixed but they arent what they used to be... very few are.

Similar to SoundStream and Phoenix Gold - bringing the goodness back to the name, better than the old stuff, but compared to the "great" stuff now, the spots they used to hold, they just arent quite there yet... but the gaps closing

So does anyone already have these in their camaro? How much are these subs going for? I would not mind trying some of them if they are not to crazy on the price tag. Would these work with the Subthumb box or would they have to re-chamber it?

Price for these awesome subs are right on the dot. Comparable to JL Audio W7 quality, but not the price tag. Check the website link and talk to James. He is the man.
