Strut tower question
Can I make a 2011 strut tower support work on my 2010 ss with just a little drilling and bolting or will it not be worth the trouble.

2010 and early 2011 Camaros do not have holes for a strut tower brace. You have to drill holes. You can use the GM strut tower brace but you have to buy an adapter kit so the brace can connect to the towers (the late 2011-2015 Camaros had a different tower design compared to 2010's). A cleaner alternative are strut tower braces from BMR:

Google and any search engine for that matter sometimes pulls up the correct thing you are looking for. But also pulls up a ton of things that pertains to nothing. It is our job to help those that ask for help. I know I am still learning and who best to ask then the ones that have done it before me. Without wasting hours on a computer going through useless links. Nothing to contribute? Go to the next thread.

remember the strut tower brace is for cosmetic purposes only. You will not see any advantage in performance/handling on the coupe.

The strut tower reduces vibration while increasing stability and handling in all models with 21" wheels, especially at speeds over 90 mph. We have not noticed any differences with the standard 20" models. |

So you never asked a question on here that has been asked before? Give me a break. Every question that you could ever think of has been asked at one time or another. So it is a good thing those smileys are beating that high horse you were riding on. You did absolutely nothing to "help" as you say in your post. It was just simply being a smart @$$

I have 20s on my SS and did notice a difference in stiffness. Especially while cornering. Even more while cornering under acceleration

So how much would a front strut tower brace help a base V6 model? I figure that I could do the front sway bar and front STB at least, that way if I can't out run them, I can at least out handle them

Honestly, depends on the driving habits. You will notice for certain more bumps in the road. When you go into a corner or turn the car wants to roll on it's edge if you will. The brace will stiffen it so that the patch wants to be more flat on the pavement. It is well worth the minimal investment.
Not certain about the out cornering them. As they also probably have the same thing in theirs.......
