As for me, in populated areas I actually do really well (as I don't even break the speed limit).. but the wife screaming at me doesn't help and keeps me grounded. ..but open country toll roads, alone in the car, and alone on the road for miles.. I could have racked up a couple 500 dollar cites. Nothing criminal though. I have a feeling I will pay dearly for admitting this. If it helps, I don't do traffic enforcement anymore.. having a dog put an end to that. Oh, and IBTL. Relax.

IBTL.
Not going to post my wrong doings on here. Don't want to be flamed and also don't want any documented evidence. |

Biggest fine so far came in the form of lawyer fees...$800 for doing 84 in a 70mph. VA's fantastic laws claim an automatic wreckless fro anything over 80. Not sure of the price I should have been fined for speeds in excess of that...jail, loss of license, impounded car, ass beating from wife, loss of job...i don't dare post the speed on a public forum, just lucky the police officer was in a great mood and let me go with a warning.

I would be willing to say......that ANYONE that was part of the caravan across Texas going to CFestII would qualify for the "GO TO JAIL" group.......considering that once you get to a specific speed over the posted speed limit.....you get escorted to the pokey.

Ah ok.. you got me. I was losing my cool there, right? Well, the cops are here and it appears the thread is fine.
We all do our share of 'bending'. Even if is only 5-10 over. Unfortunately for some of us, we live in states where 20 over is considered reckless and 500-1000 dollar fines.

Oh don't act like you haven't done anything!
I was doing 96 or so past a cop in a 55 zone. He was coming the other direction from me, across the median on a 4 lane highway. He decided not to go after me, I guess because the median grass was too tall. I'd have had a big ass fine, possibly lost my license, etc.
