Just got done with mine. Haven't put it on the car yet. Working nights, time for bed. Once I figured it out with your help it was easy. Just got to make sure to use the tumblers that fit flush on both sides and the sleeve slides on smoothly. Hardest part was seating the brass retainer. Had to persuade it with channel locks. Works good though. Good investment as a deterent from possible vandals.

Bought it and coded it a couple weeks ago. Thanks to your write up, it was really easy

Installed it today, took 2 minutes with clicking out the fuel door and needle-nose pliers to unrelease the old strap.

Great to see so many people having good success with the coding.
It is pretty intimidating when you first lay out all those pieces, but as you all have seen it's pretty easy.
Glad I could contribute something to this great site.

Excellent write up. Put me on the list of people this helped. Thank you.

Not only did I verify the part number with the dealer, the write up was way better than the instructions that came with the cap.

Excellent DIY write up. I just did mine and your instructions are much better than what comes with the cap.

Amazon Prime is so worth the investment. Saved a bunch on shipping!

Just started my free trial with Amazon Prime, so I didn't get nailed with S&H. Also nabbed the last cap on Amazon

I'm curious as to why Amazon said this part does not fit your car though? I went through the drop down menus and received this message for some reason? Maybe because it is a 2013

If I remember correct the dealer told me it was for Exports only. I told them I will take my chances.
