Too many complicated words? Math too difficult? Take an advil. (all in jest )

Here's the short version for you $470 plus $470 = $940.

The polished wheels POP.
Worth every penny over painted in my opinion.

Have to agree it is a bit of a rip off. The midnight silver doesn't cost any more to paint than the stock painted wheels. The wheels should not be included in the RS package. They should list the wheels as a seperate option and only charge for what the RS package is really worth. I have never seen an RS car with the midnight silver wheels that comes with the RS package. The ones that do have them must be rare. Marketing would tell gm that most would pay for the polish (and most have) thus the pricing structure used by gm would promote more profit. Good thinking GM. That's just smart business.

Actually, go through the picture links and you will see plenty of midnight wheels. But, yes, GM should get the hint that many are upgrading. I think a lot of folks saw the "Build Your Own" example of midnights and they really looked dark, so everyone upgraded. But in reality, they really arent that dark.

The problem I have with them is they don't look that much differant then the regular wheels. Either way it makes no sense the way they have it optioned.

Well, I do love the polished wheels it is the brake dust that bothers me. Second This is my 10th car so I know how the car business works. But I just think that the poilshed wheels should be an option with the RS package. But another problem to me is on a 2SS upgrade straight to polished wheels is 470.00, and the same with the RS package; there should be some kind of discount here thats all.
