Bad Rattling In Left Rear Boston Acoustics Speaker(s)...Anyone Else....

...With this problem? Purchased my 2LT On February 25th, and I'm already having issues with the speakers. About 1 month ago i was hearing an annoying buzzing sound coming from the 2 front tweeters (that problem comes and goes), and now as of yesterday (5-15) I started hearing an annoying rattling coming from my rear speaker on the drivers' side.

I like a good amount of bass, but I usually go for a 9 or 10 on treble, a 7 on my mids, and between a 7-10 on the lows/bass....is this my fault, or just bad Boston Acoustic speakers?

Stock speakers can't handle a lot of bass.

I run mine with the treble around 9 or 10 and the bass down around 5. If I put the bass any higher it will over power the speakers big time if I crank up the music.

Mine don't make any rattle noises if I run them as described. You may have blown speaker by the sound of it.

They remind me of speakers you found in the original Camaro in 1967. I guess the exterior design wasnt the only retro piece.

I don't know if it's the speaker or the actual surround that holds it in place. I need to find out how to take off that back panel so I can mess around with them.

Anyone know how that goes? I'll go search the DIY threads...
