#8883 is home (Black 2SS w/ CGM Rally stripes)
I got the call on the evening of 28May (a one-day late bday surprise). At 7am 29May I was on a plane from Dallas heading to Detroit. By 2pm, I was inspecting my car, followed by a test drive prior to signing the paperwork. All I can say is "wow!" This car is a beast! The car was delivered flawlessly to Gordon Chevrolet in Garden City, MI. My salesman, Ed Williams, had taken care of everything I had asked for (no dealer stickers on the car, he even put the window sticker in a full-size document protector, etc). He was true to his word that he gave me throughout the process. I had only dealt with him via e-mail when I placed the order from Iraq. MSRP was $37010 (before tax/title/license), out the door after TTL for $35500 after upholding his word to honor GMS pricing, and even informed me that his dealership was honoring the $750 rebate through USAA in addition to the GMS price. The only snag in the whole process was when I forgot part of the paperwork I needed to give them from USAA for the part I financed.
Sadly, the car is back in the garage in MI, while I'm back in TX. But I did get to put 200mi on it over the weekend. What a ride! I honestly could not find anything I did not like about it, and had no problems at all with it. Even my fiance is now a Camaro fan!!! She's even given the ok to order the convertible in 2011!!!!!  (as long as I get that one in automatic)This car is definately a head-turner. Even covered in Michigan pollen (  ) it still shined. Thumbs up, head nods, questions from Cobra drivers at red lights... Now I'm anxiously waiting getting home in two weeks to get some more time behind the wheel! Awesome! I have a local member who also is buying a 2LT RS...looking forward to going to car shows together! She ordered a black one!

Man sweet ride but is that a ballpark in your front yard? I would be a mess always worrying about my cars being nailed by a ball hitting it. One ball would be a nasty nasty mess of a dent.

More and more purchasers who choose the RS package are upgrading to the polished aluminum wheels. I am leaning that way also.
