I spent $700 on one zoom lens with image stabilization and thought that was crazy.

I just sold my Xsi w/ a tamron zoom...it worked fine, but not indoors unless I was like 1600 ISO. I'll be upgrading again

Those Canon lens can break a bank!

Three friends who are professional photographers.

2 use a 5D mark II, another uses a 7D.

Their telephoto lenses are about $1800 pre-tax. That's way too rich for my blood.

I'm buying a $100 tripod and a 16 GB card and I'll be done.
