I am. I was only going to swap it if I went twins.

Contacted Monster regarding they’re recommendation. They mention for me to do the Street Triple. I think that’s a little too much for my application.

Who has experience with the LT1SC and LT1S triple?

No personal experience, but my friend has the LT1-s and he has already exceeded its holding power. Not Monsters fault. They are making the recommendation of the triple based on the driveability. Scroll down and look at the characteristics of each clutch. the twin is rated poorly for street manors.

You get what you pay for...

They did mention that the triple will be better suited for the street, compared to the SC. I guess I’m just curious to see how tolerable 1 from the other is.

I've got an LT1S triple. It feels just like stock, except it doesn't slip.... lol. It causes a minor gear rattle below 1500rpm, but nothing crazy. Holds fine for the 680-700 or so that I'm at now, and I expect it to hold fine when I add another hundred or so.

Edit: just for reference, the clutch has about 35k miles on it now, and still drives great.

What made you go with this, instead of the SC version?

I had heard great things about the organic unit, since it uses the OEM c7 disks (if I recall correctly), and I didn't need the extra holding capacity of the SC. Mine's a daily driver, too, so I wanted something very streetable.

Found a pretty good deal @ Tick Performance. I just don’t know if I would need a new slave.

SC- 1150$ w/out the slave or 1430$ w/ slave.
S triple- 1300$ w/out the slave 1700$ w/ slave.

That does sound like a pretty good price. I'd base the slave decision on how many miles you have. I didn't get a new one, because when it was installed the car only had 18k miles on the odometer.

If I was doing it when it had 50k+ on the clock like I do now, I'd probably buy one as insurance. Otherwise with my luck, I'd be guaranteed that *ucker would fail about a month after I put the clutch in. LOL

I replaced mine with 36k on it just because it was about $200 to ensure the trans didnt have to come down again. I’d get a remote bleeder cable because getting the air out with the stock one sucks major donkey dick.

I stand corrected... There was no option to not have the slave. :(

Finally got around to installing my MM Wild catch can. All I have to say is that these fittings are a bitch to move around without some form of lube. Quality is pretty solid. Only thing I DID NOT LIKE is the bracket is being held by one small screw. -__-

Correct me if I’m wrong here....
- I capped the valley.
- 1 of the hoses is connected from intake to catch can.
- other jose is from catch can to oil fill tube....

Once my centrist is connected, will I have to change anything with how the hoses are routed?
