The 4th gen while it was the most criticized Camaro and dubbed the catfish I actually loved how well it handled. My 2000 Camaro was a Z28 and the current V6 puts that to shame lol

Definitely. And back in 2000 era this car was king. I had a base 1998 Z28 with the 16 inch wheels, cloth, hardtop, etc...Brand spanking new I got it for 22k. Phenomenal bang for the buck. Ironically I ran a stock 4th gen automatic in my V6 at the track. Guess what? They were almost identical. The V6 has come a long way lol

Congrats on the purchase. I bought a 2018 V6 LT2 with the 1LE package over the summer. Awesome car. Going to do a few upgrades to it over the holidays. Enjoy it!

How is the 1LE? I hear the suspension is much better. Mine is tad rough or maybe I just forgot what American muscle is like lol but I love my Camaro just wish it would have a softer ride at times.

Well I’m happy with it. I sit in an hour of traffic to work and the same going home and by Friday I still have more than a quarter tank of gas. Yesterday I took it for a 2 hour drive on the highway and noticed the car was V4 mode and read 45mpg and when I got my destination it was still at the full line.

First I didn’t like the red hot but now I’m completely for it. The color also keeps me on check not to drive on the streets like I’m on the speedway haha. I’m going to vinyl wrap my bowties in black. Hopefully they come out good or I’ll get the OEM black bowties. Not really liking the gold on bright red. |

Its certainly firm. But that's what allows me to take those back country curves at twice the posted limit. But I knew what I signed up for with the 1LE, so they don't really bother me.
