Fluid changes on rear axle and brakes for 2015 Camaro LS

I own a Camaro 2015 Camaro LS, I checked the Camaro hand book maintenance chart on replacing both the rear axle fluids and brake fluids at 45,000 miles. I have 57,000 mile in my car now. How important is this type of maintenance and what are the consequences if they don't get changed? I also saw that certain models are equipped with limited differential? Does this LS model have that?
Any advice before I take my car in for this kind of maintenance?

I believe only the 6sp manual comes with the limited slip. I don't think you have to worry about changing the brake fluid since most never don't do that anyway. However, it's probably good because brake fluid is hydroscopic and absorbs moisture over time. The rear axle is pretty easy though so it's a good idea as well. I did mine a few hundred miles after buying the car and it was pretty nasty, I'm glad I did it.

The manual reference for lsd is only for the V6.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
If you are asking then it means you are concerned. Do yourself a favor and get someone skilled to help you or have a good shop flush and bleed your brake system with a quality brake fluid and don’t forget to bleed the abs. Look at your master cylinder and if the fluid looks black then your well beyond due.
As far as the diff, I’d at the very least follow the GM chart.

Yeah, I know. I was talking about the V6 since the OP has a base LS.
