Best mufflers?

I have the stock exhaust on my 1LE and hate the sound. I have a Flowmaster on my Silverado and love the way it sounds. Not sure what to put on my 1LE. It is really hard to hear what they all sound like online. I want a deep throaty sound but I want to be able to hear the radio. I was thinking about getting the Borla S type. I was thinking just axle back but not sure about that either.

Everyone has their own preference in exhaust sound. I recommend attend some Camaro events and pick one you like. Otherwise you will only get Pick my combo... I love it!

For example I think cutouts are the worst. Having owned and operated cars from street to race, open headers through factory mufflers and I am fine with the standard exhaust sound.

I have the NPP on my 1LE but when I had my 12' SS I had a Magnaflow Comp series axle back which is just a muffler delete and I liked it. It was in combo with the full cat-back and HF cats too. It made quite a different to the tone.

Before I installed my headers I had Flowmasters. It gives you that deep growling sound until the car goes into idle. But once those headers were put on, I was totally satisfied!

agree going to a meet and hear the diff...like clothes or colors, everyone likes something different. Very happy with my magnaflows - just cut off the stock muffs and mounted these - sound link here. Very little drone or noise until you want it...:

Thanks for the feedback. It is all good advice and I think I will go to a meet to check out the different sounds and check out the videos you posted. Can't wait to change the sound.
