Camaro Hood & Hockey Stripes no longer available as an LPO

To improve quality, the decision has been made to remove the Camaro Hood & Hockey Stripes as an LPO option. Effective with this week's production all pending / scheduled LPO ordered Camaro Hood and Hockey Stripes will be factory installed.

The stripes will still be available from your local dealer, in the event a customer desires stripes after a vehicle has arrived at the dealership.

Black Hood and Hockey Stripes
Discontinued LPO: VYQ
New RPO: DSC

Gray (previously Silver) Hood and Hockey Stripes
Discontinued LPO: VYR
New RPO: DSF

White Hood and Hockey Stripes
Discontinued LPO: VYP
New RPO: DSD

sounds like my hood stripes will be factory installed right ??

That's good news. I may now consider stripes. No offense to the dealers on here, but I won't even consider any dealer installed options when ordering a new car. I literally want my new car to come off the shipping truck and in my hands. No dealer ad sticker, plastic wrap removal, wash...nothing. I specify when ordering and if they get it wrong I walk away. My car, my preference. Still leaning towards getting stripes PAINTED tho...
