My car seems faster than it did right after I had it tuned. Not sure why that would be, but maybe some "learning" had to take place.

Because I'm local, I just went and plugged in. Are you being sent a cable or a hand-held unit? Just curious, because I want the process to be apparent for future customers. And there should be more.

stikSS, let us know how you like it.

I'm getting the hand-held unit and lifetime tunes. It's going in my wifes car, and I only drive it on the weekends if we go somewhere together. The car is damn quick now.. which we all know that, so I will try my best to give a good before and after.

Is your wife's car the 2LT?

If so, you'll want to drive it more after this.

I rented the tuner from them and did the tune myself. I will try to arrange a track day in the next few weeks with Chad (or whoever else wants to come and has Trifecta) to compare. However, again it will not mean much unless the cars have similar setups...

Do you guys then send the tuner device back? Is there a deposit on the unit?

I am glad to hear everyone is enjoying their new added HP increase!

John, yes there is a learning process.

Yes there is a Rental Fee to use the IPF Tuning Module.

Thanks,

Happy Holidays!

Jesse!

Well, mine seems to be learning quite well. I've hit the traction control defeat button a couple of times to see if I can get the rear wheels to spin once I'm already rolling, but the limited slip on my M6 works a little too well. If it was an open diff, I'm sure it would burn all the way up to redline. Really feels powerful.

Jesse, let me know about getting on the dyno.

Yea... it's hers, and I don't mind driving it now.... but it's not quite 550hp that's carrying me down the road

Pretty cool. At what speed are you trying this at?

I agree that it would probably be much different (in my case) with a limited slip rear end, b/c currenly in manual mode, if I'm rolling at 10 to 15MPH...maybe more I dunno...and then nail it she spins pretty good lol. Not sure how fast I can go and still do that though.

I have a few questions.

Why is there a rental fee on the tuner that we don't get back even though we are returning the tuner?

Also, if I don't get the lifetime tunes, do I have to pay the rental fee everytime?
