Looks like GM has slowed the production down recently on the Z.
They were building 8-12 Z's per day and now looks to be down around 3-5

one thing that i am a little surprised by is that GM did not make specialized number plates for these first 500 cars

Not sure if there is any substance behind how many are sold. i think it is a little strange that production has slowed 60 or 70%. Unless those numbers are BS in the manufacturing world it would mean demand has gone away. Just a thought, which is self serving, since I don't have a car lined up yet.

With today's Just In Time inventory control systems, it only takes a minor glitch to stop or slow production.
