Misfire

So I have a P0171 code showing along with P0174 (sometimes) and i know this is not a vacuum leak it's tune related. But I also got a P0300 code once and been reading live data with my scanner and noticed all cylinders are counting misfires randomly on Idle only. Maximum misifre count was 16 and back to 0 and the rest were averaged between 2-8 misfire counts and then back to 0 and not all of them on the same times. Is this caused by the lean afr or is it related to the ignition system. The misfire counts only at idle and sometimes when i engine brake.

Currently on the car 41-110 plugs with MSD wires which I really don't like. If the wires are causing this than I have a good reason to change the wires. Bought the car as is with the plugs and wires.

Do a search someone did good pics on the locations. A WB and checking STFT should help but consider “Lambda” when going for a WB.

I researched out and bought wires from these guys I am very happy with and have no impedance, I would suggest you may also have cracked plugs if not installed correctly. There are tests on utube of granatelli wires versus the competition on a MSD tester showing they are the bees knees.... I would suggest stock iridium plugs, or if headers like me/cammed I use NGK tr6ix ...and never attempt to gap a iridium plug its brittle wire not a gap you can change.

Most people have no trouble with just plain stock wires and plugs...… and check for loose things like the MAF, TB, wiring connectors etc......
