I doubt it is the boost a pump, but could be a vacuum leak.
I read the same things about the Kenne Bell as well. That's why I was surprised when you said you were running out of fuel/retarding at high rpm's. In my limited knowledge, I associated your issues with improper tuning or insufficient fuel pump/fuel nozzles (None that I would apply to LPE).

One of the problems with the BAP is: It usually does not just fail it gets weaker, no way other than performance to tell (or fuel pressure). It could also be some bad fuel.
LPE is on it and I am going to get it to a dyno so we can figure it out, and maybe add a mod or two.

I finally got to test out my new goodies at the track yesterday. It was AWESOME!! The car felt amazing, and the 3.90 gear felt really great! I give it 2 thumbs up!!!

I had a great day even though I did a little unintentional drifting down the back straight away. I did two 360's. Fortunately I was able to recover, and everything was alright.

NOTE TO SELF: Don't nail the gas when going over a hump!

Great to hear you like all the new mods!! I will bet that 3.90 gear is great on your track, that torque is right where you need it. I will bet that after all that fancy driving, your rear had a positive latch on that seat.
Glad to hear you and your car are fine!

Thanks everyone. It was quite a scare! I'm extremely grateful everything turned out OK. But the car was REALLY awesome! I had two great sessions before the "incident" and another one after, so I feel pretty good about everything, and I do realize what I did wrong, so hopefully I can learn from it and keep improving my skills. I know all of you are gonna love the rear and the gear!!!! I can't wait to get this Beast back out on the 1/4 mile track when it opens back up!

On that note, My 18 inch Forgelines for the rear came in Thursday. I'm gonna try them on now to make sure I don't have any fitment issues. I'm still on the fence between the Nitto 050R's or the Mickey Thompson ET Street radials, if anyone has any input on this.

I run the 18 inch MT - but heard it from a little birdie in your camp, that the Nitto 18 inch tire is actually hooks better. They tested the two on a Corvette and the Nitto came out on top???

Thanks Flo Mo, I've been leaning that way. I like the Nitto 050R's on my 20's. I might just have to bite the bullet and get them and RS and I can put them to the test head to head. He has the Mickey Thompson's. Our cars are now pretty much identical, so it'll just be drivers and tires.

Found just the info you are looking for 2010, take a look at the shootout Super Chevy did with those exact tires allbeit they were 17's but all things equal should figure out about the same.

I am sitting in the Denver airport waiting for my connection to Ontario California. This is my third trip to Ontario which is ten minutes from West Coast Customs. We already have our first 2011 season episode taped. It is a project that the 5th Gen owners will have great interest in. The second episode will appeal to ALL Camaro enthusiasts. I wish I could say more, so I will. Both builds use Pedders GMPP Licensed parts.

I guess you'll have to watch the new season of Inside West Coast Customs to be aired on HD Theater.

Have they released the new Chevrolet Sonic Z Spec with Pedders coilovers... Then there is a new project pending on a very high profile, some would say electric... There is also a new partnership with a motorsports legend named... And testing with another legendary company...

I can't tell you everything now. I would like to, but can't and it is killing me.

Hey Pete,
That is why they have a little thing called PM's for those special customers with tight lips.
Sounds like you have been having fun!
Keep it up, and keep the new parts coming!

Pete, I want your job! Getting to hang out with car enthusiasts all day, driving fast cool cars, going to shows and watching people drool over your latest item.

Although I have fun at car shows as well... I always get at least one or more interested person to peek underneath the Camaro at my rather nice looking suspension parts at every car show..

I think I keep it clean under there 'cause I like looking at it.
How many people polish their suspension parts? Damn... I need to get a lift at home and make that job easier. Too bad it won't fit in my Garage. (low ceilings).
