My 2010 2SS/RS Build

Well here it is, I did a lot to it before taking pictures ect.. so I'm trying to catch up now. I bought it in Dallas TX almost a year ago and installed a ADM CAI American long tube headers, hi flow cats, x pipe and Magnaflow race exhaust and a full Hotchkis suspension. Springs, strut tower brace, sway bars and sub frame connector. Once it hit 1000 miles I went to ADM and had them put in a stage 2 blower cam and springs, 160 stat, hose relocation kit and dyno tune it.

I got a little side tracked and started working on the sound system, was just going to up grade the 6X9's but it turned into a can of worms once I started. I went with Focal but then realized I needed a little more bass. So I started to build a sub box, I had a lot of issues there. It needs to be light so I built it out of glass, building a box out of MDF and putting glass on the front is easy, building the whole box out of it provided to be quite a challenge. Half way threw the build I got the great idea that you could hide a NOS bottle between the rear seat and sub box witch added to the build problems.

Well I found some time this weekend and finished the sub box. Then threw a few coats of SGM base and clear on it, (it is not quite square in the picture I set it correctly after it was wired in) The Nos bottle is also just set in there, hopefully I can finish that install next weekend.

I also finished the tail light trim, bow tie black out and lens tint. I did not want issues with the police so I held back the urge and dident go to dark. For the trim and bow tie i used SEM trim black rattle can and top coated with urethane clear. With the lens I sanded them with 600 wet applied 2 thin coats of VHT night shades and top coated with urethane clear.

Finished the plumbing for the Nos, put the grill in and tinted the front side markers. I used the same method as the tail lights, the rear ones are finished just not installed yet.
