I used to use McGuires Tech wax, now all I use is their waterless car wash/wax spray and Torque Mirror shine detail spray.

Adams ceramic coating. I used to use their liquid paint sealant then Americana wax.

I dont think I'd ever wax a car again. Not with the technology of ceramics and now spray ceramics

I use NEXGEN. It's so easy. Spray it on and wipe it off. Easy enough for this old man.

I wipe it down with a prep wax remover and then hand wax 1-2 coats followed with a two coat sealer. The rest of the time I dust it off and wipe it down with detailer. I use a local detail shop in Omaha called Hi-Temp products and get bulk sized containers. I also take care of 4 other cars..... My wife claims I spend more time with the cars than her! I would need new paint to ever get to a show room shine...lol.... It's bad..... and the wheels....don't get me started!
I'm kinda in the same boat. My paint shines up very nicely and looks great...from a few feet away.

I wrapped my hood because it had some bad etching from bird poop. I couldn't get it out even after trying wet sanding, so the wrap hides that. Also, when I bought the car it had dry and cracked side stripes on it that caused severe paint shadowing. I had to put another new set of stripes right back over the shadowing to hide it. The car does clean up very nicely, and luckily the Cyber Gray Metallic hides a lot of flaws, but it definitely is in need of a respray if I ever wanted to get serious with the car shows.

Wax? What's that? Get yourself some Adams Ceramic Spray coating and call it a day. It will give you shine and gloss like no wax will. The Turtle Wax Ceramic Spray Coating gets great reviews as well and can be bought at Walmart cheaper then Adams.

I bought the Meguiars ceramic. Easy to use just not sold on it. I usually use turtle wax soap, but switched to griots and dont like it.

I just spent the last month doing a 3 step paint correction, Adam’s new graphene ceramic coating and I do regular cleanings with the graphene detail spray and waterless wash. The wheels I took off the car, deep cleaned and did ceramic coated them as well. But I’ve found that using many coats of wax, no matter the brand... will give you diminishing returns. But it is satisfying work.

I have read and watched a ton of reviews on the Turtle Was Ceramic spray and nearly everyone says that stuff is amazing. That will be the next spray I try, and my first go round with ceramics. I usually use either Griots or Meguiars detailing/wax sprays, but I really want something that lasts longer.

I use Adams products on my car but still haven't "graduated" to the ceramic stuff. I have my eye on the Adams ceramic spray as you have already used it, I was wondering what kind of prep is involved? As I understand it, your paint has to be in top condition before applying the ceramic coatings i.e. clay bar, polish or any paint correction. I would love to just be able to wash my car, dry it and spray the ceramic coat on the car. Is this doable do I have to do the prep work.
