Keep JRE tune or get it Dyno tuned?
I'm not completely satisfied with my Camaros performance I feel like there's a lot left in it. I have full bolt ons, JRE 470 cam, ProTorque 2800 stall and Teds SCT tune.

ted will be able to tune remotely better then some dyno tunes. first it depends on who your tuner is.
second, why do you feel like its not right. also maybe you could contact ted maybe he can make sure everything is right with tune. |

I will be data logging once again just to make sure. It's not that I don't feel its right I just feel like there's more that could be done. I went to the drag strip recently and just did .02 better than last time. I added the cam and stall since then.

Call and talk with Ted And see if youre concerns can be improved without a dyno visit Ted gets 50$ for additional tune adjustments, i would maybe go this Route once twice if my concerns improved significantly But being a few short 2 hr drive from jre I would schedule some dyno time and throw the 100 from above towards the dyno time But call Ted to discuss youre issues with the cars performance 1st Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk 2

Did you see much change in mph in the quarter mile? Often times the et suffers from poor traction, but mph can tell you more about the overall power increase. Also, forgive my ignorance, are you saying you added the cam & stall & JRE tune then gained .02 in the quarter mile? Can you post the best two tickets? Simple answer is your car is making higher HP @ a higher RPM band.....so, if you are not taking advantage of the higher RPM band (launching, shifting, etc) where the power is, you will not like the results.....

I would also recommend (as others) a dyno tune to assure HP/TQ#'s are valid & the motor specs are OK!

I'm sure ted has dyno tunes a lot of cars with your same set up. The heat right now and/ or poor track is a heart breaker for people looking for good times.

If you got the MPH info correct, you picked up 130+ hp in the 1/8th based on MPH
Then something happens and power falls off. What was the 1/8th ET gain? It would be really interesting to see the ticket incremental times of the comparison runs. |

Looks like you lost some traction.
Stock tires? Your making more power by looking at the mph. |
