Several mentions in this thread comparing this excellent re-creation to the Bumblebee of the second movie..

He is working off from the original Bumblebee from the 1st Transformers movie; bowtie is still not blacked out but no red outline either, no body kit for the front facia, no cutouts around the foglights, and no custom hood... Notice he even matched the hood stripes, spot on!

Don't take this whole comment the wrong way but if that's what your basing your decision on you need to rethink your whole though process and what you really want. I wish you well in your decision making. BTW I have owned 4 camaros and could care less what anyone thinks or thought of them, it's what you feel for the car and it makes you feel that matters.

Should've went all out(hood scoop and fog lights painted), if your're go all out..IMO..if comparing to T2..

WOW!!!!! That is sweeeet and the first to have the real Bumble Bee color from Transformers. I wish they would offer this color standard instead of the Rally Yellow or at least in addition to it.

Why not just use "Speed Yellow" it's similar and only costs $79/Gal from TCP Global. GM's reason for not changing the paint on the Transformer car is price. Bullllllllarkey! They could use a similar color for about $100 a car since they would buy the paint in bulk.(Plus save the price of the yellow that would have went on. So it's really a toss-up.) Pore the paint in the machine and paint it the special color. Whalah! Happy Customers..... But, instead we get.... It's not BumbleBee, blah, blah, blah. Give me a break....Then why not offer the package in all colors? It's simple.... GM, man up and slip a very similar color in the machine and make the car look at least similar to the way it should! By the way, Your Bumblebee (Or as Chevy would call it- Transformer Package) looks awesome.

About this Camaro, I think the stripes are a teeny bit far apart, but it looks amazing overall!

Thanks everyone for the positive reviews!

I installed the camaro side emblems today. The car is 99% done. We still have to wet sand and polish the SHOW APPEARANCE clear coat.
I think that's what the painter (Gary) called it. I can't imagine it any shinnier but, he said it will help.
The engine cover will be painted HOUSE OF KOLORS Sunrise as well.

I wanted the look of the original Bumblebee but, I had to have the 2SS model.
The headrests, smoked emblems and lights and the exhaust were just extras that I wanted and of course had nothing to do with the movie car.
The tips were bought from a local auto parts dealer and a buddy bent up the pipes.
I just thought it would look cool. "A little bit but not too much"

It depends on which camera and camera setting we use because the paint changes colour
every time the sun or lack of sun hits it.
You can drive by the car and watch it change colours from the reflection of the sun. Pretty cool!

The paint and body shop supplies cost almost $4000. The labour involved would probably cost another $5000 - $10,000 easily.
It was a lot of work to spray gold over every yellow spot on the car. I think we got most of it.

That's a lot of coin, but hell, you can't take it with you. Maybe in a few years I'll go for a similar redux. That is what I thought I'd be getting when I went to order my yellow SS. Not the Canary yellow we all ended up with........
