E85 on stock tune???

I was just wondering if its ok to run E85 on the stock tune? All I have is a Corsa cat back and a CAI intake. There is a station about to open around here so i was just curious and wanted to try it if its ok. Thanks!

No! Don't do it. Factory ECM program has no provision for E85 AFR. The engine will always run lean - part throttle and WOT.

The trucks have no fuel composition sensor unlike the flex fuel trucks. Do not use E85 unless you are tuned for it and have your fuel system set up for it.

Just wondering, many years ago when I was into dirt track racing we were dynoing an engine. The shop dyno guru went off cause people mingled alky and regular fuel pumps, hoses etc. Cussed the OH2-said it eats everything 'rubber'/seals/whatever. I don't know, but this guy seemed to. I'm all for saving mother earth but not at the expense of my car. Tunes aside-are the Camaro's upto alcohol? I DON'T KNOW?!?!
