PMT ?

Do all 2012 and 2013 Camaro ZL1's Auto, Manual, Coupes and Convertibles have the PMT installed standard or it is an option available for the ZL1?
The reason I ask is when I attempt to enter PMT it just doesnt come up as it states in the owners manual. Does it have to be activated while driving or can it be activated while at a standstill parked or in gear?
Sorry for the questions. Had an 2011 SS before the 2013 ZL1 and didnt have all those extra options.

I would assume its not strickly and ECM tune parameter.

The only track intended mode available on the ZL1 Convertible is Competitive Driving Mode (selected by pushing the TCS/Stabilitrak button quickly two times), which disables TCS but allows full engine power while StabiliTrak helps maintain directional control by selective brake application. Launch Control is available in Competitive Driving Mode.

TCS and StabiliTrak can be fully disabled on the ZL1 Convertible by pressing and holding the TCS/StabiliTrak button until the TCS Off and StabiliTrack Off lights on the dash are illuminated.

Tour and Sport modes, which affect magnetic ride control and electric power steering settings, operate identically between the ZL1 Coupe and ZL1 Convertible.

Yeah my 2ss was very similar. Cant say for sure if it had the feature of the quick double tap dont think so but it did have the hold down for 5 sec one.
Is the feature deleted from the Vert because the lack a hard top and possible lack of chassis stiffness?

Chevrolet never gave an official reason, they just quietly released the vert without it. Chassis stiffness and vert owners being less likely to track it are probably good bets.
