Part 7c: In this video, I start testing my ability to convert the LIN Bus digital signal into individual LEDs. This is proof that I can start to translate a digital 2016+ signal into an analog 2012 control.

Sneak preview before installation. If all goes well, I may send a prototype to someone for free who can design a 3d printable better looking case for me.

Unfortunately, this prototype did not work...

Nor did the next 4.

So I have two more ideas. One is already on it's way to me. It works in bench testing. The last... ironically, is arguably going to be easier but a bit more time consuming. This project is not dead! just moving along slowly.

Both solutions will be run in parallel.
