Does Hurst Shifter eliminate the 1 to 4 issue

Plan on installing the Hurst Shifter in the near future in my 17 2SS 6MT. Does that eliminate the 1 to 4 shift restriction? I realize I can power through above 20 mph and it is a non issue but once and awhile in traffic I run into it.

The problem isn't your shifter. It's CAGS( Computer Aided Gear Selection.) You need the skip shift eliminator. Approximately $20-$25.
