Sorry if this is a stupid

What is the cooling on our transmissions ? I know your basic car with manual has gear oil. We have fluid in ours but is it hooked into the radiator cooling also ?

For some reason I remember radiators have tranny lines on my dads old cars also ?

Paired with a numerically higher 3.91 final-drive ratio, the close-ratio gearing of the transmission is tuned for road-racing performance. As with the ZL1, the 1LE transmission features a standard liquid-to-liquid cooling system for track usage.

Just to clarify, this ZL1 / 1LE tranny cooler system is the same that is on the standard SS correct? The info in the TREMEC deal is contradictory to the thread you posted if this is not the case. Thanks!

I'm not completely sure on this, but I would say that the SS without the 1LE package has the Air-to-Liquid cooling system, thus isn't that what the radiator is used for since it relies on air to cool the liquid?
