Recieved My Factory KAE Hurst Shifter Today!!!!

Here are some pictures of My KAE Factory Hurst Sifter. Paid alot of money for it, but well worth it. Cant wait to have it installed. I just recently purchased a 2010 Camaro SS/RS with a TVS 2300 Magna Charger and SLP long tube headers and complete exhaust including SLP Powerflo axle back. Car is a the dealership having the rally stripes painted and the dealership is 4 hours away from my home, so ill be picking it up in the spring. I havent even driven it yet. LOL car has 11,000km on it. This wait is killing me!!

Nice looking unit! Way too pricey for me though! Good luck with it and give us a review when you get it done!

Its there any way you can take the rubber boots of and let me see the parts? I want to see the differences between the stock and this.

I guess I just don't understand the fascination for this shifter, expecially for the price. Don't they have aftermarket shifters with ~25% reduction?

Does anyone know - is the Factory Hurst Shifter actually installed at the Oshawa assembly plant on all the cars with it ordered as an option. Or is it dealer installed? I saw a dealer putting one on a new car, and I couldn't figure out why the plant didn't install it if it was ordered as an option.

This was orginally planned as a dealer option. But due to overwheling demand and the complexity of installation, the Hurst shifter became a factory option and is now installed on the line at Oshawa.

However, a dealer would be able to install the Hurst shifter (KAE) if a customer requested and the vehicle was not originally optioned as such.

I have a MGW and have no thoughts of replacing it. Just wordering the cost of the GM/Hurst shifter.
