Fuel Injector Replacement - Parts Help (2010 2LT)

Hi All,

A few items upfront:
2010 2LT, Manual, 112,000 Miles, Daily Driver

Background:
I had the car in for a diagnostic at the dealership after the car threww a few codes (misfires and lean idle bank 1). Diagnosis and testing revealed that the fuel injectors are shot and need to be replaced.

I've replaced injectors before in other cars (my '91 Z28) but after some reading the service manual I see that this is perhaps a bit involved. I'm am currently reading up on the procedure and putting together a parts list before doing anything.

Question:
1) The service manual states that the "fuel rail crossover tube" needs to be completely replaced due to the compression fittings being compromised during removal. Does anyone have the acdelco part number for this? I can't find it anywhere.

2) I read of one success story with injector replacement on another forum. I'm curious if anyone here has attempted this? How did it go?

Thanks!

I've pulled the injectors multiple times without replacing the fuel rails or cross over tubes. You will be fine. The only thing that may happen is you would damage the o-rings on the injectors themselves but if you are replacing them then they should already come with some. You'll be fine.
