I appreciate the comments! The first couple weeks I had the car on somedays I had the feeling that I would have liked the ZL1 better but after the tint and rims I had changed my mind. Though the ZL1 is a bad looking ride as well. Its a toss up I guess.

I really like the accents on the hood with the red stripes and what looks like gray and black. I have never seen that style before. Where did you get it done? By the way welcome to the forum.

It came new like that. Chevy worked up a program/deal sending new SS's to SLP's shop and rework them coming out as ZL600 or 585 depending on what packeage they work it over with and then Chevy dealers sell them as specialty cars keeping all of the factory warranties. Somewhat like COPO used to do in the old days. Mine is #028 of 200.

The problem I sometime worry about is that should something happen to the car such as an accident or anything else I don't know if I can get things like the embrodiered seats or some of the other badges stripes replaced. I would probably be able to go to SLP but no telling if they would provide them. I know anything for a price but it was just a thought. As it is I removed the rims and kept them on the shelve should I want to put them back on later.

Don't talk like that. Accidents will not happen or are not allowed to happen. Repeat after me, NO ACCIDENTS, LOL.

Love, love, love SLP and that's one if the biggest reasons, not only do the build a beautiful powerful car but said car has full warrant at any GM dealership we are lucky enough to have allocation with SLP again this year and have a ZL600 convertible coming in a couple days
